Mr. Pei Honghong is a doctor of medicine, second-level chief physician, mentor for master and doctoral students. In 1992, he graduated from the former Department of Clinical Medicine of Xi’an Medical University with a bachelor’s degree, in 2000 a master’s degree in surgery from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and in 2010 a doctorate in surgery from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He successively studied in Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University and Stralsund Hospital in Germany.
He majors in the medical, teaching and scientific research of acute and severe illnesses. He has been involved in major medical aid and rescue tasks, as well as the rescue of critically ill patients. He can independently handle various common diseases and critically ill patients, and actively carry out advanced diagnosis and treatment technology in clinical work at home and abroad. He mainly conducts clinical and basic research on critically ill (especially severe pancreatitis and sepsis) patients in the ICU.
He has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects at all levels, and published more than 100 scientific research papers in both Chinese and English, including more than 20 SCI papers. He teaches emergency medicine for five-year and seven-year medical students, works for two research projects on hospital teaching reform, has published 6 teaching papers, and participated in the compilation of 4 emergency medicine textbooks. He won the second prize of Xi’an Jiaotong University Teaching Achievement Award. He also won twice second prizes of science and technology in Shaanxi colleges and universities.
He was a member of the youth committee of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the chairman of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Xi’an Medical Association. Currently, he is a member of the Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Group of the Emergency Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the deputy director of the Emergency and Resuscitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the first council of the China Medical Rescue Association Disaster Rescue Branch and a member of the Emergency Branch, and a member of the Emergency Branch of the Shaanxi Medical Association. He is also the deputy director of the emergency branch of Shaanxi Medical Association, editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine and Journal of Practical Shock.
